The Drive-Thru
The Curaleaf Miami Airport drive-thru at 5400 NW 72 Avenue in Doral — near MIA — was the first cannabis drive-thru in the state of Florida. Patients pre-order via the Curaleaf app or website, pull up to the drive-thru window, present MMUR card and government photo ID for verification, and receive sealed product. The format is operationally faster than walking into a storefront, with limited inventory selection on-site (the patient effectively pre-selects).
The drive-thru location is a notable workaround for patients who don’t want to be seen entering an MMTC — a particular concern in some Cuban-American or Venezuelan-American patient communities where cannabis remains culturally stigmatized.
